The Bahama Mama Line of Art by Rachel Sakhi The Nirvana: The Nirvana is an extremely quiet well maintained smaller apartment complex located across the street from The Magic Castle and a few feet away from The Madison which accompanies Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, and the wax museum next door to the TCL Chinese Theater attracts up to 2,000 tourists and city residents every 24 to 48 hours. However, this particular side of the same street is respected, sustains an efficiency landscape, and quiet female residents with tiny pets. The Nirvana is unique in style, obviously renovated, well maintained, and expresses Japanese artistry. While skateboarding through Hollywood the deeply painted red and black building sporting one rooftop tri--layered neon green patio umbrella captured my attention. I sat in between two vehicles on the edge of the sidewalk and quickly completed the sketch in under 6 minutes. A couple of extremely well mannered female residents were present -- one arriving with an African styled head garment walking her pet, and one female peacefully sitting at the patio table. She was so quiet I became startled. I believe she was surprised at the interesting and sudden noise of street traffic. I tried to leave as soon as possible as to not disturb the quiet residents. Thankfully the drivers were beautiful, and remained decent while waiting at the traffic light. They were trying to find me in between the small space of the two parked vehicles.
